Audrey Thibodeaux
 
Audrey Thibodeaux has worked in elderly services on a local, state, and national level since 1989 when she became involved in the St. Martin Parish, Louisiana Triad Pilot Project. She currently serves as the Director of Community Services in addition to managing two statewide initiatives which include: The statewide “Elderly Crime Victim Assistance Program,” and the statewide “Elderly Services Officer/Aged Law Enforcement Response Team (ESO/ALERT) Training and Certification Program.” She also services as the Director of the Region 3 Elderly Protective Services Program covering a ten (10) parish service area.
 
She has attained the following professional certifications
  • National Credentialing as a Certified Advocate at the Advanced Level with a Designation of Comprehensive Victim Interventionist Specialist, June 2005
  • Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Certified Basic Training Course, March 2002
  • Elderly Services Officer (ESO) Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification Course, Louisiana State University Division of Continuing Education, June 2000
  • Graduate of the National Victim Assistance Academy at American University, Washington, D.C., July 1997
  • 1995 Certified Elderly Services Officer Course, Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, December 1995
