  • Bureau of Justice Statistics
    • The Bureau of Justice Statistics is a data base of statistical information related to criminal justice. Information can be found on corrections, courts, crime type, criminal justice improvement programs, employment, law enforcement and victims.
  • Crime Solutions
    • Crime Solutions is part of the National Institute of Justice, it uses research to determine what works in criminal justice, juvenile justice, and victims services.
  • Community View
    • Community View is a crime mapping program for Lafayette Parish.
  • Go Government
    • Go Government is private one-stop shop for find federal jobs and internships.
  • Louisiana Department of Corrections
    • The Louisiana Department of Corrections focus is to enhance public safety through the safe and secure incarceration of offenders. This site also provides statistical information on prisoners, parolees, and probationers.
  • Louisiana Department of State Civil Service
    • State Civil Service is a data base of available employment in Louisiana. It also contains resources for job seekers.
  • National Archive of Criminal Justice Data
    • The National Archive of Criminal Justice Data mission is to facilitate research in criminal justice and criminology.
  • National Criminal Justice Reference Service
    • The National Criminal Justice Reference Service is a virtual library for criminal justice programs. General topics include corrections, courts, crime, crime prevention, drugs, juvenile justice, law enforcement, and victims.
  • Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention
    • Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is part of the Office of Justice Programs its goal is to aid in setting policies to guide federal juvenile justice issues and disseminates information about juvenile justice issues.

  • Uniform Crime Report
    • The UCR is the starting place for law enforcement executives, students of criminal justice, researchers, and members of the media as well as the public to seek information on crime in the United States. Also included is Hate Crimes, Law  Enforcement  Officers, and the National Incident-Based Reporting System.

    • The Census serves as the leading source of quality data about the nation’s people and economy.
  • Youth Services Office of Juvenile Justice
    • Youth Services Office of Juvenile Justice State of Louisiana has police oversight and support responsibilities for state programs for youth who are adjudicated delinquent and for youth and families in need of services.
