Dr. Ami Stearns talked with host Tiffiany Decou on KPEL's Lafayette Food Junkie Show about the ways inmates construct specialized recipes from ingredients found in jails and prisons. Dr. Stearns researches foodways in incarcerated contexts and has recently had an article accepted by Feminist Criminology. She is currently working on a taxonomy of prison cookbooks.
