The Louisiana State Analytical & Fusion Exchange (LA-SAFE) is looking for motivated and dedicated investigative
specialists to join our team. The LA-SAFE mission is to collect, evaluate, analyze, and disseminate information and
intelligence data regarding criminal and terrorist activity to federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies,
other fusion centers, and public and private entities as appropriate. LA-SAFE investigative specialists work with local,
state, federal, and tribal law enforcement and vetted private partners to share criminal intelligence and assist with case
support and analysis.
Analysts provide tactical assistance to law enforcement agencies in support of terrorism-related or other criminal
investigations. Analysts assigned to specific threat sectors provide strategic intelligence analysis and have extensive
knowledge and expertise in the following areas determined to pose the greatest public safety concern in Louisiana:
• Domestic Extremism
• Narcotics
• Gangs
• Human Trafficking
• Critical Infrastructure
• School Safety Resources
• Insurance Fraud/Auto Theft
Biographies:
I/SS Alison Pulliam: Graduated from Grantham University with Major in History and Minor in Criminal Justice. Served
over 22 years as a Military Intelligence Analyst in the Air Force before retiring and working with the Louisiana State
Police Fusion Center as an Investigative Specialist Supervisor. Currently the FBI’s VICAP Manager for the State of
Louisiana in addition to being the Military Liaison Outreach Manager. Serves as part of the newly developed Fusion
Center Outreach Team with I/SS Varnado. “My greatest passion is helping to develop future generations of analysts
and motivating them to keep seeking new personal growth.”
I/S Tala Tobeh: Graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with Major in Criminal Justice and Minor in
Forensics. Took a range of classes between Courts, Corrections Process, Human Exploitation, Bloodstain Analysis,
Investigations, and so much more. Very interested in Violent Crimes focus. Started working with Louisiana State Police
Fusion Center as an Investigative Specialist in 2022. “This is a hidden gem of a job that many don’t know about and it’s
perfect for people who want to work in the Criminal Justice career field but don’t want to be an actual law enforcement officer
