About Us
The Department of Criminal Justice is home to a thriving undergraduate program, growing master's program, and the Criminal Justice Society. In our department, we have about 270 undergraduate majors and 9 graduate students.
Our undergraduate program provides the breadth of knowledge of a liberal arts curriculum, combined with the rich interdisciplinary perspectives of crime and justice. Our program will help you grow personally and professionally through experiences inside and outside the classroom.
Our master's program is flexible—offering students a deep understanding of crime policy, theory, practice, and application of evidence-based approaches to crime solutions. Our program prepares students to act as informed and skilled agents of justice, who combine critical thinking and analytical skills with empirical evidence to accurately assess our crime problems and evaluate justice problems, policies, programs, and solutions.
