CJUS Society Annual Field Trip

Criminal Justice Society Student Members are now welcome to sign up for the annual field trip to Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, Louisiana.
This event is for the UL Criminal Justice Society student members ONLY.
Attendees will meet at the UL bus pick-up on Rex street and take the bus to the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, La. Attendees should arrive at 6:45am, as the bus leaves at 7am.
Attendees will receive the full tour of the facility, which typically includes the grounds, the re-entry programs, the law library, historical sites, and the museum. The tour includes Q&A with inmates who work in various facilities on the grounds. Lunch is included. Attendees must follow all penitentiary guidelines including dress code and prohibited items.
